About Me

Hi, my name is Tad, am 30 years old and I grew up in a small picturesque town in the Slovenian Alps.
I discovered Couchsurfing a few years ago while backpacking through Europe, I met many incredible openminded people on the road thanks to this platform, which made the journey so mesmerizing, some became even good friends since then.
I am currently settled in Augsburg where I can host you if you are passing by, am at the same time frequently traveling all over the place myself, since I feel most alive in the state of flow while being on the road. 🐾

A bit about me:
For my whole life I have been in deep contact with nature, so now I have become inwoven with it and feel most present and at peace in it, especially in the forests. I love to do all sort of activities related to it (like hiking, wildcamping etc.) or simply enjoying its stillness and quietness. I also love the sun (can soak it up like a sponge) and the sea/large bodies of water. I love good raves/festivals with chill/down to earth people, any spontaneous or mindful activities, and (ofc.) traveling. I adore animals of all kind and try to read as much as possible. But most importantly I love to spend quality time with people who are willing and eager to venture deep into our physical (sporty stuff), emotional (to love and be loved), mental (deep, constructive debates in all fields from the humanities to hard science; my field is psychology) and spiritual (being present) existence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in core Couchsurfing values like openness, multiculturalism, freedom of travel, acceptance and general kindness and am looking forward to meet new (or once known 🦔) souls from all over this blue ball of ours 🌎.

I would love to hang out a bit (if you have time) and learn about your story/perspectives and also share mine. Like I said the state of flow while traveling is very powerful so am looking forward to offer a piece of it to hosts if I’m on the road myself or will gladly accept it into my place if you are looking for a place to stay! 🌈

If I’m hosting:
Am living in a 3 bedroom apartment near to the center of Augsburg, you will have a private room for yourself where you can find your peace/privacy.
It’s also ok if you just need an accommodation and want to chill and rest, I know how it’s like on long journeys..
And a tip: always write personalized messages to a few hosts with whom you think you share stuff and avoid copy-pasting to many as the former is waaay more effective at getting accepted. Cheers! 😊
