Hi folks,

I'm Tadhg! I have just returned to Ireland after spending 7 and a half years living and working in Sydney, Australia.

I'm a carpenter by trade, but I'm also acting and hoping to make it my full time job. I love to sing also, and I play a bit of guitar.

I'm pretty well travelled in Australia, and also have seen a little bit of Europe, Asia and America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine told me about Couchsurfing, and it sounded like a great way to get around while also meeting interesting, like-minded people in the process.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a wide ranging love of music - I enjoy everything! I'm also partial to karaoke whenever the opportunity presents :)

I also love a huge range of film - anything with Liam Neeson, for sure! And any action, horror or comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef - that's definitely high on the list! Other highlights are working for a week in a kangaroo orphanage in the middle of the dessert in South Australia, hunting wild pigs with dogs and knives, watching the sun rise on Uluru, spotting rare dugongs in Monkey Mia in Western Australia, or dancing and drinking the night away with Aboriginals in the Northern Territory :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

With hosts, I can share my experiences of Australia, as well as my new ventures into the world of acting. On top of that, we can have a singsong, if you're into that, and have a jam on the guitar. As a carpenter, I can give you advice if you've got problems with your house! :D
