It is quite hard to describe a person, especially a person who you know really well such as yourself because we are all complicated. Well..well what should I say now?!

I am good at Math(used to be), obsessed with scores and diligent.....may be that's why I do Medicine even though I love other areas of study as well. I still remembered vividly when everyone in my classroom had to draw what they wanted to be in the future( that was in grade 1 so I was 7 year old) I drew myself in a white coat, a big table and a cat and said to the classroom that I wanted to be a vet. This idea definitely came from my obsession of Animal Planet. When I grew up, when people asked me what I want to be in the future, honestly, I didn't really know but I always said a doctor. Now I am in a medical school and I have to admit that I love Medicine and have made a right choice! But if people ask me if I can do any jobs in the world, my answer would be either a writer or a wildlife cameraman.

I like to put my hands under the pillow in the morning and feel the chill sensation. I like how clean the glasses can be after I clean them with dish soap. I like to watch sad videos when I feel sad. I like looking at paintings. I like to take off my shoes in the lecture theater. I like to photograph flowers and people when they are unconscious. I like listening to people speaking in public places. I like wearing Doc Martens even though they are so painful. I like colorful socks. I like to bring a novel with me when I go outside even though I will not read it. I like to buy second-hand books even though I know I won't have time to read them. I always get onto the last compartment of the subway train, believing that i might meet the one.

Well.. I think I should stop now :)

PHILOSOPHY

I just don't understand when people say "Live as if this were your last day.Dream as if you would live forever". I mean...this is a good quote but it is so unrealistic. "Live as if this were your last day"...if this were my last day, I probably just stay home with my family, eat food as much as I can. I wouldn't leave home and study aboard or write my profile on couchsurfing in order to have a place to stay when I travel. "Dream as if you would live forever"....if I know I would live forever, I would probably not dream anything at all, since my time is not limited. Living immortally is, in fact, a boring way to live. Without death, sorrow and departure, how can we know the values of our happiness and time.

兴趣

I LOVE going to art galleries and looking paintings. Impressionism is my favorite. Room 45, National Gallery, is my favorite place in London - I always walk into that room every time I go down to London. A Wheatfield, with Cypresses is my favorite painting in the world - I never feel tired contemplating those clouds floating in that blue sky. I visited Paris, Florence, Amsterdam and Vienna in order to see the paintings.
I love musicals. Even though I live in Nottingham which is 2 hour away from London, I always try to go to London to watch musicals. My favorite ones are Les Miserables and Wicked. I have watched more than ten west-end shows so far.
I love talking a photo of people from behind, flowers, cats and random posters.

My favorite time of the day is when I lie down in my bed next to an IKEA bedside lamp and read a novel for 10 to 20 minutes before I fall asleep.

I love films. When I was younger I watched every kinds of films - admittedly my favorite was chi-fic. But now it has changed. I don't watch blockbuster films anymore. Most of the films I watch in my free time are those from top 250 imdb. American Beauty, American History X, Amelie, 500 days of summer, C.R.A.Z.Y., Leon, the Breakfast Club, 12 Angry Men, Fargo, Pan's Labyrinth, Black Swam, Fight Club, The Shawshank Redemption, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Departure(Japanese) and many more.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Couldn't find any hotel for New year's eve(2013) in Edinburgh so I wandered around the city and slept in the train station, woke up and watched The Hobbit before I could check in and finally slept.
In 2014, I did it again, I slept in St.Pancras in New year's eve. Woke up and told myself "this is horrible, lol" so I decided to spend money I saved on the ticket for Wicked.
In summer, 2014, I traveled in Europe alone for 18 days. Had done one crazy thing which I couldn't mention here :)

Always pick up earthworms on the street...not sure if that is amazing.

Honestly, studying medicine is one of the most amazing thing.
