Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Visiting the touristic areas in a city is just a checklist to tick! You may be able to just say "I've been there". Experiencing how locals live, eat, travel and talk is something you need to do yourself, to be able to grasp the culture of that community. This is what I'm looking for here.
