Welcome to Our Heritage Community Stay in Agra - Soul Stay

Hello fellow travelers! We’re excited to invite you to stay with us in one of the oldest and most vibrant parts of Agra. Our space is a heritage building with a rooftop view of the Taj Mahal, a fully equipped kitchen, and a welcoming community atmosphere.

What We Offer:
• A free stay in a beautiful heritage home, nestled in a historic neighborhood.
• A rooftop with a breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal.
• The opportunity to join local workshops and enjoy home-cooked meals with families in the community.

Our Expectations:

To truly embrace the spirit of slow travel and meaningful exchange, we ask that guests stay with us for at least three days and two nights. This gives you time to connect with the local culture, get to know us and the community, and really immerse yourself in the experience.

In return, we ask that you contribute in some way—whether it’s teaching a skill, helping us document the experience, or sharing your journey on social media. Donations to help cover costs are welcome. Our main goal is to create a sustainable, community-focused space where everyone can share and learn.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Tahir from Agra 👋 I love meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning from different cultures. I work with local artists and run heritage walks, so I’m always surrounded by history and creativity.

I believe in slow travel, good conversations over chai, and simple exchanges—whether that’s cooking together, teaching a skill, or just hanging out. Always happy to host open-minded travelers who enjoy connecting with people and places beyond the tourist trail.

WHY HOST ME ?

I can teach you photography ( mobile and DSLR) . I love to talk about philosophy. I am really good at listening. Can make good food ( both veg and non veg) . I know a lot of stories, so maybe can tell make you fall asleep with good stories :) . Most of the people that I meet become my life long friends and I believe I can see the good in people. Also, if your story interests me, you get featured on my YouTube :)

Why are we at CS ?

We are here to learn from what the CS community has to offer. We have had the privlledge to host some really amazing people who made us their family and taught us so much about life. We love the energy that travellers get to our space.

Who do we host ?

We like to host only long terms hosts. So if you are coming to Agra just to see Taj then most probably we will not be interested in hosting you. But if you are actually looking to see the city beyond its touristy monuments and are looking to be a part of community life then we will be happy to host you. As such there is no bar on how many days you can stay with us. We have had instances where people came for 2 days but ended up staying for 20 days and we totally loved it. So we are looking for people who are on a journey, not really tourists.

We will be happy to host people who want to collaborate with us. So if there is something on your mind for Agra/India please get in touch.
