关于我
Istanbul has had me for eight years now, and the city still hasn't run out of surprises. That's exactly why I stay.
I work in film and television — a world that taught me to notice what most people walk past. I'm drawn to people who see things differently, ask questions that don't have easy answers, and aren't afraid to get genuinely lost somewhere new.
New languages, new philosophies, new ways of wandering through an unfamiliar city — I'm in for all of it. I believe the best conversations happen between strangers who decide, for whatever reason, to be honest with each other.
When I'm off the clock, you'll find me on a long walk with no destination and very good company.
Come find me in Istanbul. I'll show you the city without the tourist version.

I'm here for the people — the ones in corners of the world I haven't reached yet, carrying perspectives I haven't considered yet. I'm not looking for mirrors. I'm looking for windows I've never looked through.
Life is too vast and too strange to spend it only among the familiar.

Techno is home base, but I'll follow good sound wherever it leads. Genres don't really interest me — feeling does. (Yes, I occasionally end up on the pop side of things. We don't talk about that.)
If I could have directed one film, it would be Uncut Gems — no hesitation. The Safdie brothers built something that doesn't let you breathe, and I mean that as the highest compliment. The way that film moves, the way it thinks — it's exactly the kind of cinema that reminds me why I got into this industry.

A week with me probably starts with coffee somewhere locals actually go — not the place with the nice Instagram tiles, the place with the regulars who've been sitting in the same chair since 1994.
Somewhere in between, you'll end up on a walk that was supposed to take twenty minutes and takes two hours. We won't mind.
You'll hear about film — not the industry gossip kind, but the "why does this shot make you feel like that" kind. You might leave with a list of films you've never heard of and a slightly different way of watching them.
We'll probably have at least one conversation that gets too philosophical for the hour. That's not a warning, that's a promise.
If you're into music, one night will go longer than planned. Techno, something unexpected, maybe both.
You'll see Istanbul the way people who actually live here see it — the neighborhood that doesn't show up on any list, the street that looks like nothing and means everything, the city at an hour when tourists are asleep.
By the end of the week, you won't have seen all of Istanbul. Nobody does. But you'll have felt a real piece of it.
