Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Taig :) I'm a laid back, down to earth 27 year old Australian. I am a avid traveller, an adventure seeker and fun loving person.
I'm currently on a break from my career and I'm travelling the world for a few months.
I am looking to meet cool, interesting people that I can swap stories with, hang out and learn about different countries.
I'm sure I can teach you about our culture and possibly some Australian slang!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Two close friends of mine use this community often and I thought I should give it a go to try and meet new people while I travel.
I love to learn about other cultures and meet locals wherever I go! That's the real joys of travelling, to live like a local.
If I can get hosted by someone and then they come to Australia, I'd be more than happy to show them around and explain as much about Australian culture as I can. I'd be excited have them in my home!

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste can be quite broad, but I do enjoy alternative indie rock, Hard Rock and some electronic rock. But you can't beat good Aussie bands :)
I like thriller and suspense movies and books. Anything with a twist is great!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Zip lining through the jungle in Laos.
Eating live octopus in South Korea.
Hanging out the door of a packed, speeding bus in Sri Lanka (not purposely).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach random facts that I have remembered from playing trivia. I can teach anyone to cook... and of course eat!
I am willing to learn as much as I can in this world. New skills are always welcome! And new cultures are exciting and interesting.
I can share good humour and a great laugh. As well as my friendship.

Belgium, Cambodia, Denmark, England, Fiji, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Samoa, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, United States, Vanuatu, Viet Nam
