My name is Taiga. I am a conscientious, ethereal, kind girl with a heavy interest in cultures, the future, and the development of emotion.

I have been playing piano and singing for about 14 years, so music is fundamental to my self-expression. I also love to listen to music; I write poetry, I play outside... I am very progressive and tolerant, I guess: And I have a affinity towards being as openminded and optimistic about situations as possible.

I like to study nutrition, foreign language, and information about other countries in my free time.

I have High-Functioning Autism. I am also Transsexual.

I have absolutely no idea what I am being asked to put in this section.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always wanted to travel: So when I got kicked out at 18, it was the perfect opportunity for me to honor my passion. I have had amazing experiences and terrible experiences. The most amazing experiences tend to be when both of us are comfortable without a sense of expectation or entitlement. The worst experiences I've had have involved couchsurfing with single men who were either very psychologically unhappy, and expressed that through verbal abuse, or guys who host couchsurfers as a way to try and get sex. I am open with my mind and heart to all experiences if there's a genuine connection with someone who passes through my life - but hosting me does not mean you are going to have sex with me. I am happy to be helpful and productive during my stay, but I am not obligated to allow access to my body.

Currently, I am about to move to Phoenix, Arizona from Seattle. My plan is to get involved with a shelter and a transitional housing program, both of which I have the information for. The primary reason I'm on here is to find someone in the Phoenix area that I would be able to stay with on any night that I couldn't get into the shelter.

Movies: Tank Girl and anime. I like movies and shows with really weird humor, great art, and meaningful stories that aren't blanched by societal capitalization.

Music: Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, JASMINE, Deep Forest, Cusco, Enya, Bjork, Kpop, Faye Wong, trance, Native American music, etc.

Books: Nonfiction books and books about Taoism or healing therapies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Landscapes inspires me. I think in landscapes and pictures, and then transliterate them into common language so I can communicate with others: So most of my thoughts and emotions are based on the inspiration of something I saw or imagined in my brain.
