Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to go out of my comfort zone and make life-long friends!
ABOUT ME
I am very outgoing and love to try new things. I have tried pretty much every sport, have a huge appreciation of art and literature and love to just cross new boundaries. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask!
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy?...hmm. We are all children of the world, so I feel that we should get to know all of our counterparts and explore the places we have only heard of because you don't truly 'know' a place until you have explored it yourself. As all of my immediate family members have passed away I can appreciate that life is short, so we should make good use of the time we have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have now used couch surfer a few times and it has been really fun meeting so many new people. It's a wonderful experience and after I finish my year abroad, I look forward to being able to host people myself! :)
Interests
Reading, exploring nature, visual art, sports, playing video games, attending concerts and finding art events anywhere possible! I am willing to try most things at least once. :) In the states I played Rugby and volleyball, did cheerleading, did dance (hip hop, lyrical, and ballet), worked in a hospital, became an EMT (ambulance worker), went hiking/camping frequently, and just stayed busy all the time!

Music, Movies, and Books
I know it sounds like I'm indecisive but I love almost all types of music! I'm currently very into rap, hip hop and heavy metal, but rock is always a classic favourite.
My favourite movies are the Lord of the Rings...I am a bit of a nerd. haha. I can also say that I am willing to watch most movies in any genre.
Books....I have too many to count and that is still not enough!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen someone come back from death when I worked in the emergency room. It is probably one of the most amazing things that I have ever been around because nothing makes you appreciate life like seeing someone else almost lose theirs. It makes you realize just how strong, yet fragile we all are.
Teach, Learn, Share
Though I feel that I have not traveled very much thus far in my life, I have tried a lot of different activities that most can relate to at some point. There are things such as doing sports, making art, working in the medical field, falling in love, attending concerts, making new friends...the possibilities are endless. You can always learn more, even if you think you already know a subject to it's full extent.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In all of my travels what I hope to share the most is positive and new experiences. I love getting to know other people and with that gain and share intimate knowledge that can only come from creating meaningful and sometimes long-lasting bonds.
