ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in the mountains of Montana so I have a natural love of anything mountain related. Skiing, climbing, backpacking, staring in awe; all favorite activities of mine. I also have an equal, in fact maybe greater, love of travel. The act of travelling around this world, seeing its wonders and meeting the people that are doing their thing on its surface is something that scratches an itch for me that nothing else can quite reach. Amazing.
I am also an avid musician. I think I play (though, in all honesty, it might not always extend past the thought) six or seven intruments. I spend a lot of time recording music, both with friends and by myself. I'm also known to play in the occasional band every once in a while.
I love to cook and to eat. Though the latter seems kind of obvious since it would be a cruel irony to love to cook but hate to eat.
I work as a wildland firefighter in montana during the summers and attend university during the school year... Or at least that is how it has worked out so far, we shall see if things continue that way. I love to have random bursts of creativity, so i do lots of drawing and writing and whatever else comes to my mind. I am thinking about going to film school in the near future and a few of my friends and I are known to write, film and act in the occasional short movie together for fun sometimes.
There's not much else I can say except for random facts like that i play soccer and can ride a unicycle but nothing all that interesting, so... there you go, thats me, well from my perspecive at least.

PHILOSOPHY

The power of the mind is so strong it keeps convincing itself that it is week, I'm trying to live above that little deception.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I had my own profile, two friends and I couchsurfed through Europe proper, the Balkans and Istanbul for a few months after graduating form high school.
I haven't had the chance to host yet but I'm looking forward to it when i do.
