Me...
…I am sometimes this and sometimes that and most of the time just trying to be a happy person and creating things.

…about me in terms of “I am what I do":
I am an artist and illustrator. I love to draw and I could completely get lost in sitting over a drawing for hours and hours.
I am an expressive dancer. Not really, I just like to dance and learn to understand my body and movements more.
I am a singer that can’t sing. If I am what I do, then I should include that. I sing under the shower and when cycling around the city. But I am sure people are not happy about it.

…about me in terms of “I am what I like”:
I love languages. But not just for the part of learning them and communicating, but for the sounds and the melody of it. I could listen to people talking without understanding a word…it’s a little bit like listening to music, isn’t it?
I like to sit on windowsills or somewhere high up and look over the world around me.
I really enjoy the feeling when I am completely absorbed in something and a whole day goes by without me even noticing that I should eat or check my e-mails ;D

…about me in terms of “I am what I believe in”:
I think it is important to constantly move out of your comfort zone and exactly do those things you are sacred of, instead of running away from them.
I believe that strength and love can only come from within oneself and if you are not able to love yourself you can not love anyone else.
I am sure it is ok to constantly reinvent myself and there is no strong set of believes one must fight for and keep the entire life. That actually keeps you from learning and growing.

…I guess that’s it. More or less. For now at least :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because sometimes it makes me stumble over some truly interesting and brilliant people, which I will never forget again. For the better or the worse ;)
