About Me
Hi! My name is Tais, I’m 25 years old and I’m from São Paulo – Brazil. I’m currently in the United States through the Au Pair program, where I’ve had the opportunity to experience a culture different from my own, but now I’m still exploring it by myself before heading back home.
I’m an illustrator and I have a degree in Animation Design. I consider myself a very creative and good-humored person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My intention on this app is purely to go on adventures and open myself up to different ways of discovering places and people, and to create unique experiences that I’ll remember forever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I’ve ever done was to embark on this adventure abroad all by myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach
I’d love to teach a bit of my Brazilian culture! I always enjoy sharing and showing what we, Brazilian, are like, bringing a different and interesting perspective from where I come from. My country is huge, full of surprises, and there’s always something new to discover for those who’ve never been there. I hope that through this exchange, I can spark some curiosity and maybe even inspire you to visit Brazil someday!
Learn
I’m super curious about the way people live in different parts of the world, so I’m always open to learning anything; local habits, new recipes, cool places, or even a few words in your language. Every experience is a chance to grow, and I believe everyone has something to teach, even in the simplest moments.
Share
I love sharing good conversations, laughs, and positive energy. I believe that Couchsurfing is not just about a place to sleep, but about the connections we make. I’m happy to be present and share the moment with others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy sharing a bit of Brazilian culture wherever I go from funny expressions to making something simple and tasty like brigadeiro. I love talking about traditional celebrations like Festa Junina and showing how Brazil is full of diversity and warm, welcoming people. I think it’s amazing to exchange these experiences with people from all over the world!
