Overview
About Me
I am a recent gradute from Lahti University of Applied Sciences, Finland. Originally, I am from Siberia, but I've moved to St.Petersburg in 2008. I wanted to study aboard, so I could travel more and meet interesting people from different countries and with different cultures. I like finding some differences and similarities between people. Also I always try something new from a new flavour of food to new cultural customs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have already been to many places in Europe, but usually I travel only for one day because there is not always a chance to stay longer. That is why Couchsurfing could help me to explore more, especially if a host is ready to show a new place to me.
Interests
I am with a passion to music. I adore listening to it, playing it, singing it, dancing with it and so on. I graduated music school and my mother is a music teacher, so that explains it.
Also I am interested in learning languages, cooking, watching films, reading books (I prefer reading in original language). Sometimes I edit videos about my journeys for my friends and family. I like shooting them more than taking picture. I think it shares more emotions and experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am an open-minded person. I like very different kind of music. It can be pop or rock or jazz. I am ready to listen to anything what pleases my ears.
Regarding movies I like comedies or dramas. I am not a big fan of horror movies or thrillers. I like watching movies that inspire and teach to be positive.
And books... Well, I am the Harry Potter fan for sure. But apart from that I read a lot of Russian literature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think most of my journeys are amazing, but especially I loved volunteer workcamps: “Base Nature Vercors” France 2013, Navi and Collebeato Italy 2015, “Mir tesen” Russia 2015 (as a camp leader).
During that time I was so happy - nature, positive people, different cultures, helpful work.
One more thing that I am proud of - 35 km and 8 hours of skating with my friend on rollers in December (it was pretty warm December, so there was no snow).
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to learn some Russian, how to sing or dance, to know more about workcamps or anything from my experience, I will be pleased to share it with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am making a good "borsch" - a Russian beet soup. So my hosts won't be worried about dinner.
One Italian guy who visited my friend back in Lahti really liked it, and he does not even eat soups.
