Hi,my name is okazaki,please call me oka chan.

I live in the suburbs of Tokyo, about an hour from Shinjuku Station. Honestly, it's not the best location for sightseeing in the city lol.

I work in research institusion and am interested in materials, manufacturing, design, and architecture.
The time in graduated university, I lived with a Chinese roommate (who is in the profile photo!), so I enjoy communicating with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy cultural exchange. I don't think it has to be what people call “Instagram-worthy.” Just chatting casually at home or having a beer together is fine.

Sometimes I might be busy with work and we might not get to spend much time together. Even so, I think it's good if we each have time to relax and do our own thing.

Interests

I'm interested in things related to daily life. This includes architecture, furniture, crafting, and cooking. I also enjoy simply having conversations and being in nature.
