Experiencing Norwegian Winter
ABOUT ME
I moved over to Scotland some seven years ago and since then never really wanted to settle back home, but kinda changed citys or countries on an yearly basis. I am very sociable, relaxed and easy-going. I like going to pubs and parties as well as nature, like hiking or camping. And I love travelling and trying to squeeze in as much as possible. Companionsship for all activities is always welcome, since sadly most close friends are usually elsewhere living or backpacking themselves.
PHILOSOPHY
"Wirklich reich ist, wer mehr Träume in seiner Seele hat, als die Realität zerstören kann." - Hans Kruppa
Rough Translation: "Wealth means to have have more dreams in the soul than reality can destroy"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Haven't used CS yet, but I have gotten to know quite a number of very nice people over the past couple of years from all corners of the globe so the spontanious 'sleeping on the couch' or 'putting the sleeping bag somewhere on available floorspace' concepts are somehow familiar... its amazing how many people you can fit to sleep in small rooms :D
Interests
Most outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, camping or just being in nature; generally I like winter more than summer, especially the magic silence of snow; therefore very much interested in Northern countries, such as Scandinavia, Scotland, Canada but also old Viking and Celt legends; I have come to love Sauna, especially with some frozen lake just in front of it; also like various sports such as Bungee, Ski, Snowboard and some games, especially board games (good fun) but also some computer games for some lazy days.

Music, Movies, and Books
At the moment very much into various TV shows, such as Friends or True Blood, which can pass longer journeys or waiting times at airports easily. Music-wise its adiverse range, for going out dancing 80s music is really fun or some new electronic/trance mixes, otherwise medieval music (including scottish highland sounds), metal or folk rock (love the concerts, especially finn metal) and some other independent stuff, but it depends on my mood most of the times
