Hello. My name is Taiyo Yagi. My nationality is Japanese and I was born and raised in Japan. I am currently studying Film Studies at University of Sussex in the United Kingdom as an exchange student from Waseda University in Japan for a year. Since I lived in New Zealand for about a year and I am going to school where every classes are conducted in English, I can have daily conversations in English.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are quite a few reasons why I am doing the Couch Surfing. But the biggest reason is that I am now planning to go and travel with my friend in various countries in Europe during the winter vacation which is from 15th of December to 3rd of January. I would like to go to as much countries as possible and experience as much as possible. Our first priority is to meet people in each country we go. Couch Surfing enables us to interact with local people at the places we travel. After coming back home (Japan), I am thinking of offering a place to stay to other travelers as well.
