I am a college student from Japan. I live in Kobe, which is one of the biggest cities in Japan. Kobe is a kind of city which has both aspects, urban and rural. I greatly love my city Kobe. Now, I am absent from college for a year to study abroad. I stay in Tarrytown, NY and go to language school, EF New York.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are two reasons why I'm on Couchsurfing. First, I can stay at host's house for free. It's really helpful to me because I want to visit as many places as I can but I don't have much money. Second, I can stay at local family's house and make friends with them. It's so pleasant for me to be able to not only go to place where I have never been but also meet local people. I'm looking forward to seeing you!

Haruki Murakami
He is one of the most famous Japanese writers. When I feel depressed,I often read his book. His stories and words help me silently but strongly. Most of his books are translated in English, so please try them if you want to!
