ABOUT ME

Well. The name is Shannon and I'm from a little town right outside of Detroit. In my fourth year at Central Michigan University--probably known for our shitty basketball team. I'm about to go to my internship in Eugene, Oregon. Now, this is a big step for me considering I will be moving out there for 3 months, no car, no place to stay, not knowing one person etc. So. If anyone knows of any places that sublet for 3 months in the summer let me know =) I love to travel and see new places that I have never seen. The way that I look at it is that I want to travel as much as I can before I have to get a "real" job.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I had to move back home because I start my internship soon. So I don't think they would be too impressed if they came home and there were people on our couches. But if I were back up at school i'd let anyone stay there (except a rapist or a murderer) so when I get done with these internships, and move out. My door will always be open =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

no previous expereience--just learned about the site a few days ago. But i loveee the concept!

Interests

Traveling, sports, guitar hero, beer pong, watching Americas Funniest Home Videos, quarter bounce, working with people who have disabilities and making a change in their lives, going to WHEATLANDDDD(a bluegrass type festival) and Reggae Fest, camp fires, singing in the car and karaoke, laughing till my stomach hurts.

Movies: How to lose a guy in 10 days, Now and then, Welcome to the doll house, Clifford, Howard the Duck(this movie just cracks me up), Jerry Maguire, Team America, Stand by me, Billy Madison, Dumb and Dumber,

I ABSOLUTLEY HATE the movie Little Nicky. I would rather be forced to eat bugs then sit down and watch that whole movie.

Music: Guster, Carrie Underwood, Bonnie Raitt, Rascal Flatts, Colbie Caillet, Jason Mraz, DMB, Coldplay, Journey, Johnny Cash, Bryan Adams, ehh i have a pretty diverse selection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland was probably one of the most amazing things I have seen and studying abroad in Ireland then backpacking through Europe was probably one of the most amazing things I have done. Well... besides bungee jumping during spring break in Acapulco but I was a bit tipsy then :-x
