ABOUT ME

I am an easygoing, half Japanese, half Canadian, female living in Vancouver. I love to travel and meeting new people. I like eating (except for seafood) and watching TV/movies. I like volunteering and helping out with fundraisers for different projects.

I can not stand Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (the current book I am trying to force myself to finish). I feel like it would translate better as a movie.

Cool Runnings, Star Wars, Dead Snow, Boondock Saints, Dumb and Dumber, Anastasia, Lion King, Penelope, Forrest Gump, Anne of Green Gables, Fang Island, Beastie Boys, Dropkick Murphys, Ok Go, uhhhh... for some reason I feel like I am being timed and I can't think of anything else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love watching superhero movies and have always wanted to be one. One time a group of preschoolers lost their orange ball over a fence and across the street. I jumped out of my car to retrieve it for them. As I was running towards them, they starting cheering. One of the little girls asked, "Who are you?!" I smiled and as I continued running back to my car I responded with, "Batman" That is probably the closest feeling one could get to feeling like Captain America. Best.moment.EVER!

In 2012, I did a volunteer project in Haiti. Seeing the country side and how people live there was absolutely incredible! I still can't get over how delicious the pineapples and mangoes are over there.
