I hail from a semi rural country town called Bendigo, just a couple of hours from Melbourne! I have family in Scotland and I lived there for a couple of months! My travels around the UK will took me to see family, friends and plenty of exciting places! This year is my year off, no school, no work and no sport for the first time ever. I'm enjoying being by myself but equally meeting some incredible new people all over the place! I love to meet people that don't think the same as me, because challenging my own thinking is how I begin to understand others. Escaping my little shelters world in country Victoria is the best thing ever!

I assume that if people are willing to house strangers for a night, then they are good, interesting people, who I can't wait to meet! The kindness of strangers never ceases to amaze me!

Interessen

I'm a sporty guy, and Aussie Rules is my game of choice, but running is a persistent hobby of mine! I used to play field hockey, which is something I'll definitely take up again some time. My favourite subjects at school were history and literature. When studying Chinese and Russian revolutions, I found them fascinating and is a subject I want to learn more about in future.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I'm into my surf/garage rock, indie rock and pop, hip hop and a few anomalies in between music wise.
I haven't read many authors which I have gone back and read more of their collected works, the only one that sticks out to me is the Scottish author Iain Banks, whose first book 'The Wasp Factory' is one of my favourites. Lately I read 'Clockwork Orange' finally which I really enjoyed too.
I am not a huge lover of commercial movies, but at the same time I'm no stuck up film snob who only watches black and white films filmed through a sock for artistic expression. I enjoy movies which have some serious substance to them.
