I am a recent graduate on a journey to discover the rest of the world while I still can. In my free time, I love to design and tinker with technology, and I love working with my hands. I am always open to making new friends, and am looking forward to doing that on my travels!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've spent the past 5 years in school and work, and can finally breathe a sigh of relief; for now. I have two months to travel before I have to come back to reality and I want to take in as much of the world outside of the one I've been living in as possible. I want to meet as many friendly people as I can, and hear about their daily lives and unique stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to any music, but I especially love alternative and experimental rock. Bands like Radiohead, Muse and Pink Floyd are ones to stand out. I also love classical music, especially from the Romantic Era; my favourite composer is Chopin.

I don't know if I have a favourite movie, but there are a few that are memorable: Nightcrawler, Dirty Pretty Things, Michael Clayton, the first Matrix movie, Shutter Island, The Mist.

For books, the Harry Potter series is a given. Ender's Game was a good one, 1984, Oryx and Crake, Fahrenheit 451. The most recent book that I read was Annihilation, but I can't say that I liked that one.
