I'm a 27 year old Australian, who lives in our nation's tiny capital 'city' Canberra.

I work for a government department, doing work with human trafficking and child exploitation. I love my work, but I love even more taking time off work to travel around.

My favourite things to do are shop for food, cook for food, eat food, and drink wine. I also love just exploring a new or old place - wandering around and seeing what hidden interesting things I can uncover.

I'm travelling to the US (for the third time) for a wedding in May 2016. As I'm travelling alone, I thought couchsurfing could be a great way to meet new people.

Also, as I've been to the cities I'm visiting before, as an all-out tourist, I reckon this time getting a more local experience would be amazing!
