Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I like anything I like, simple as that! My taste ranges from classical to Eminem, depending on the mood. As for movies, I’m mostly into action, Marvel, Batman, Fast and Furious, but my all-time favorite is Bruce Almighty. It just hits differently. When it comes to reading... well, I mostly read boring academic stuff. I haven’t touched fiction in about 15 years, and I really should get back to it someday!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I woke up this morning and got to experience this beautiful world once again. I’ve been doing that for 38 years now, and it never gets old.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could share some travel tips, but let’s be honest, most people on Couchsurfing are already seasoned travelers. So instead, I’ll stick to what I can really offer: I can teach you some Kazakh or Russian, give you a few ping-pong tricks, or even show you some Taekwondo moves!

I’ve collected quite a few travel stories over the years, some hilarious, others... not so much. Like the time I lost my laptop at Frankfurt Airport (not my finest moment), or when I found my carry-on waiting for me at the Zurich airport police office. Let’s just say, travel always keeps me on my toes!
