Overview
About Me
Small human being, trying to figure out what to do next - spending its time reading books, hiking and translating stuff....
____
A little but important thing: I'm allergic to a bunch of eatable stuff, eating isn't very complicated though, rice and vegetables will always do :), and it's a good excuse for me to cook for/with you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to live in a shared flat in germany, and we often had couchsurfers staying for a few days. The time we spent with our visitors was full of funny moments, interesting thoughts and discussions, and delicious meals. We all really enjoyed it :)
Talking to strangers might also be one of the things I find the most interesting in life and Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to do so :)
Moreover I like the idea of discovering a new city or region from the perspective of its inhabitants : when I am visiting them on my own, I sometimes have the feeling to see only the cover of a book, and I'm often wondering about the way people live their everyday life in these places. By talking and discovering them with their inhabitants, they suddenly become meaningful and 'alive'...
- and again, couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get to discover another/ an insider perspective on the places one is visiting...
_______
So because I find couchsurfing such an interesting thing,
I will probably think about it the next time I am going somewhere and need to find a place to sleep,
:)
