My name is Talia Barnett, I’m an easy going girl that loves anything creative outdoorsy or musical. I was born and raised on a small island off the coat of Vancouver Canada, this small town tree-hugger upbringing has made me eager to make connections as meaningful as the ones I was raised around. This as-well has given me motivation to see the world on a larger scale, to gain a better understanding of the many things life has to offer.
I always keep an open inquisitive mind as I am aware I know only as much as I allow myself to learn.

I love hiking, camping, running and getting out into nature as much as possible, keeping my body and mind healthy is one of my top priorities! This extends to the people I am around, sharing walks or talks (or both at the same time) can make for the best connections.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music! Getting to know someone over their music taste tells a lot about the person, I think it can be a great way to connect. It can also just be a random jam you love to bob your head to, I’ll sing along ether way!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have painted multiple murals! I believe that bringing color into peoples lives can really inspire a fun motivation. I’ve been lucky to do this for a farm in Quebec, I was also given artistic freedom to do with one of my bedrooms walls ceiling and floor what I wanted. When you have permission, paint it all!

Teach, Learn, Share

Everything, I’m open minded and look forward to learning from everyone I meet! I believe we all have so much to offer, and learn best from teaching others about our passions.
I’m starting to learn Dutch and would love a fluent Dutch speaker around so I can train my brain.
I’m also learning guitar at the moment, and am eager for suggestions on technique and would love to jam with someone.
