I traveled Europe for a few weeks last summer and I've just caught the travel bug. I'm an actor in the Bay Area and I'm also about to finish my degree, after which I'll continue acting and working in the theater world more full time. I love learning about new people and places and I enjoy nerding out over the history of the places I visit. I love music, movies, cooking, growing things, most kinds of art, and I'm a big foodie.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to explore new places! I'm still a college student, and even after I graduate, my life as an actor probably won't allow for lots of fancy venues when I travel. And anyway, I'd rather stay at place where I can experience a city or location more authentically.

Music: Sara Bareilles, Watsky, some musical theater, Lazaro, Hozier, King Princess, Troye Sivan, Paramore. I'm a little all over the place and I like a lot of random stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played Ophelia in Hamlet as my first professional acting gig? I feel like that counts. I made her as strong and interesting and real as I could, and got a lot of incredible responses from mostly women who had never seen her as a real, grounded person before. I was lucky enough to see Hamlet at The Globe in London a month later!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A love of food and culture and art! I'll cook for you (vegetarian) or take you to a nice meal, and go to the theater or other art experiences with you.
