About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Help make the world a smaller and more friendly place!

ABOUT ME

I am fun loving, willing to try pretty much anything new and don't take myself too seriously. I find inspiration from creativity. I'm an optimist and want to remain young at heart forever. In the bigger cities I like the nightlife - drink, go out, drink, eat, drink, dance and party! HIGH energy level

Hard Core, natural, REAL, self reinvention

PHILOSOPHY

Wander just enough to be lost.

I live life for innovation, to create something new.

also, i don't want to grow up -- BUT i don't want to stop growing EITHER

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host at my place, attend CS functions and meet CSers when traveling. I like to show my city to people that when in New York just wanna kick it and enjoy many of its great attractions -- ranging from bars, clubs, restaurants to museums, shows and parks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've meet some GREAT people, many of whom I hope to see again and again and again. The true COMMUNITY is what I like the most. CS has expanded my perceptions -- which helps me advance, stay fresh and exposed. It has been good to have a change to get to know people coming from all over the world, since NYC is soo highly traveled.

Interests

Many interests... I do a lot of different things, but not necessarily all of them often.

Traveling (need I say), meeting new folks, cooking, eating, yoga, drinking, dancing, recreatonal sports such as snowboarding, scuba diving, snorkeling and skiing, tennis, biking, running / marathons, dancing, music, literature, independent films, film festivals, ballet, museums and modern art.

Burning Man!

Music, Movies & Books

Favorite Books: Siddhartha, The Alchemist, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Hobbit, Guns Germs and Steel, Chronicle of a Death Foretold, many others!!!

Favorite Movies: Tous les matins du monde, Cinema Paradiso, Dead Man, Silent Waters, Ju Dou, Chasing Amy, Pulp Fiction, The Matrix and several lesser known independent and foreign films.

Favorite Music: Hip hop, dance, reggae, jazz, blues, Tabla Beat Science, Blackalicious, Miles Davis, Prince and Etta James.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Scuba diving with sharks! Also have run 3 really FUN marathons (Chicago, DC and New York). Ultralight flight over Rio was also amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning spanish AND SALSA -- Can you help???
