About Me

I'm a quiet person, yet keen for a meaningful communication. A person of conversation. I'm interested in what comes up from a meeting, as a way of living. In my every day I usually hitch hike- so that's my portion of meeting new people and seeing what comes up.

The meeting with another person is a meaningful thing to me. Together with my openness I carry a carefulness with my partner's and my limits.

I once learnt that before being hosted one should tell whether they're vegan, so I'm a vegan who doesn't mind what others eat. I don't drink alcohol or coffe, so thanks but I I'm good with water.

I'm a nature lover yet in the last years it was more and more important for me to be in cities, where there are people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a native Esperantist, the experience of humanity as a family brought many international guesting experiences to me. After meaningful meetings with couchsurfers at my friend's house, I came to see this is also a good way to connect between people from around the world. When visiting a place, the best way is through the people living in it. Learning that people are interested to be in this close situation of hosting a traveler is an important human asset, I think, to have in the world.

Interests

I like having cats around, walking and a warm weather.

I have an interested approuch towards life, so I have a bit of an idea about many things. There are some themes (mentioned through out my profile) many people hear about from me for the first time: mainly Esperanto, Anthroposophy, Eurythmy, Waldorf education, Astrology, music and the human being... I'd be happy to tell about.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer singing rather listen to music. I don't listen so much to recorded music, unless I need to work. I like concentrating on where I am. I'd rather listen to live music and concentrate on it when I do.

I'm a musician, so my approuch towards listening is again...braud.

"Styles" I like are ethnic musics like Brazilian music, Colombian, Jewish, Arabic, Indian, Chinese, but I'm open for more. Liturgical music of all religions interests me- some are really moving for me, good old Rock and Roll and relating styles, classical music, especially Bach, Chopen, Impresionism

I don't usually don't watch movies- it's hard for me to sit passively for so long. Truthfully I try avoiding screens- I don't like their influence on me. After working with a computer I do a special exercise for rebalancing-I'd be glad to show.

The Bible. Really. It aint the world's best seller for 4,000 years for nothing :) and for why is that, I can spare a few stories about. (It's been my academic professionalization as a teacher)

Books about Anthroposoohical teachings, Psychology, self development. Life's stories are more than any imagination. I like wise stories, and making up stories is a professional tool for me, so it's always around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote a really good poem for the class report for a second grade student of mine

Teach, Learn, Share

You're welcome to ask me about anything of the things mentioned, I believe that some would be new to you.

I'm always glad to learn, so what ever the meeting will bring up :)

The every day lives in different places are interesting to me.

If you happen to know anything about physics , medicine, economy- these are themes I don't easily investigate my self- I'd be happy to hear something.

What I Can Share with Hosts

cooking and preparing food, house chores- I'd be happy to take part
conversations
