Resumen
Sobre mí
Trying to get to know places by getting to know the people who love them.
I am short and I smile a lot. Just left DC after living there for five years - I'm spending a couple of months traveling before hunkering down in Denver. On to new adventures! The most important thing about me might be that I REALLY love soup.
Always striving to learn more, get more experiences, eat more good food, meet more excellent people, and change the world a little bit at a time.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I've stayed with people in Austin and Louisville -- both experiences were awesome! I've also hosted quite a few people in the past, and have found the CouchSurfing experience to be really lovely overall.
Right now I can't host, unfortunately - I don't even have a homebase to host from currently! Happy to show people around or grab some food/drinks wherever I am at the moment, though. I prefer to surf whenever I'm traveling. It's a much better way to get to know a place than staying in a hotel and reading a guide book. Nothing better than seeing a city through a local's eyes.

Música, películas y libros
I like music that makes me simultaneously feel like the moment could last forever and the world is collapsing around me.
Top three movies: Slam; Harold and Maude; and Vernon, Florida.
Game of Thrones! I'm a fantasy nerd, and I love young adult novels. No shame. The Neverending Story will always be one of my favorite books, and Steve Almond makes me love life.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Flitted between locations and careers like it ain't no thang, but I suspect y'all know all about that.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I taught English to Korean people for a couple of years, so I'm pretty decent at that. Know a bit about how to maintain and repair bicycles, but I've got a world ahead of me there. I'm really good at organizing things and learned a lot about finance during my last job (surprisingly interesting and very useful). I also loooooooove cooking with & for people!
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Excitement! I smile all the time, and am happy to cook food or take hosts out for a drink. I will make a very conscious effort not to leave a mess behind in your place, and to respect you in every way possible. Mostly I just love sharing stories and experiences.
