ABOUT ME

We are an established couple I ( Bob ) have lived in Spain since early 2006 whilst Dee has lived here since just before the millenium.
we now live together in a very small cave with wonderful views of the church and town
When I was young and single, books fired my imagination and I wanted to see the world unfortunately I have only seen a very small part of it,and I am now settled here in Spain so the idea of meeting people from the parts of the world that I never did get to see is exciting
As for Dee she has not seen as much as I have and she is incredibly nervous about meeting new people. She intends to alter this by participating in this group.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't you find that over the course of your life your philosophy changes
When I was a young single male my main purpose in life was doing what young men do
then I met the lady I married and had 2 children, my philosophy then was to do anything I could to bring them up safe, protect them and make them proud of their dad
In my late 30s divorced and not having influence in my childrens lives anymore I was determined to build my business up and personal happiness was pushed into the background
Now in my early 50s my business sold and living in semi retirement with someone I love I can relax look at my life and see what the future brings. Dee on the other hand met and married her husband when she was very young. She had 3 sons, all of whom she herself was lucky enough to be around for. She and her ex ran their milk delivery business together, once she had stopped working for a company. Prior to this she worked in an office environment, as personal assistant. So is a very speedy typist. Her philosophy is live and let live, get what you can whilst you can, because we pass this way once.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are sure that compared to some people we actually do very little to participate, BUT if everyone just did a little something what we could achieve would be amazing and we hope in our small way we are building something amazing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have only had one couple couch surf with us so far and that was a very enjoyable experience, no doubt as we host more we will update this section

Interests

Bob plays Cricket for 3 teams here in Spain, He also play tennis, Squash and Badminton
We both like reading although we both different subjects for this hobby. Bob has just got into Dan Brown and also like reading auobiographies. Dee too is an avid reader, autobiographies are now one of her choices, although she likes a very wide range of books, including ones on home improvements and gardening.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bob enjoys a variety of films, from weepies such as City of Angels,Forever Young, Sleepless in Seattle and Message in a Bottle to action films such as the Matrix and Terminator series
Dee likes the True Movies channel on the television which shows a very broad range of true life films

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For Bob it would have to be the birth of his children, especially the birth of his youngest when the doctor turned up direct from a new year party dressed as a cowboy complete with Spurs!!
For me Dee, what can say I except reiterate what Bob has said. The birth of my three sons must be my biggest and happiest achievement in life.
