ABOUT ME

During the school year I take care of our 1 year old daughter and perform music part-time and teach guitar lessons while my wife teaches 2nd grade.

During the summer we do a performance tour while we visit friends in the rest of the country.

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Last summer we did a summer tour from FL to ME and stayed with a bunch of friends and couchsurfing people along the way. Great way to meet new people and really the only way a relatively unknown performer can tour without going broke.

Now that we have got rid of our neurotic dog we'll be hosting people ourselves here in CO.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a lot of people stay with me and have stayed with a lot of people through my various adventures, but only started using this site last summer.

Last summer we stayed with a bunch of people from CS.

Interests

I like writing and performing music, rock climbing, good beer, hiking, sushi.

My wife Katherine likes to read fiction and listen to the kind of country music that makes my skin crawl.

Our daughter Gwen like Curious George, flowers, and dogs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived all over the US: KS, MO, NY, NH, VT, TX, CO, NE, MA.

I've seen most of the rest of the country and a little of Canada.

My wife has lived in Germany as well as seen almost all of the US.
