My CS mission is to host you guys, and to find couch's to surf on, when we travel

ABOUT ME

I'm a realtor now, but also for 8 years have placed foreign exchange students in host homes, screened families to host and trained local coordinators. I'm a mom of 7 children (1 of them still living at home (youngest is 18), and host mom to many international students over the years. A few years back, I spent a lot of time driving kids from here to there, traveling to nearby cities for soccer tournaments. I enjoy finding fantastic homes for buyers and also helping sell homes, cooking, and hanging with friends, hubby, and kids. I had a little place where I sold vintage and collectibles here in Tallahassee. We go to a local church and enjoy it, and I write when I have time. I've been a content producer for an online site and dream of finding enough time to finish a few books that I have in the works. If you come to visit us in Tallahassee, I will take you in, like your mom, and fix you a home cooked meal.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Christian, so I think that God placed me here on this earth for a reason, and he wants me to use the gifts he has given me to show others his love, and treat others the way I would want to be treated, and to be generous, and accepting, and loving.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I found out about couchsurfing from my nephew who was a couch surfer surfing in Europe, then ended up moving overseas. He spent several months traveling in Europe with couchsurfing before he moved to Barcelona, and it was a great experience and we joined to host and be hosted soon after.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted a bunch and have stayed in a number of homes as well. Used to belong to a similar group about 10 years ago. This group was for families and was called "Home to Home". It no longer exists, but it was great, cause we could bring the whole family, with sleeping bags, and crash on the floor. Saved us in hotel expenses. And couchsurfing has been awesome, too!

I still like chick flicks even though I've been married 33 years. I like some action adventure and mystery movies, too.
I like jazz music, and Michael Buble', some of the current music my kids like.
A favorite book I've enjoyed is "Blue Like Jazz" by Donald Miller. I like Francine Rivers and Grisham books, too. And magazines on Entrepreneur related stuff.

I can tell you a lot about what it is like to be a Mom with lots of kids. I can show you how to make some meals. I love learning more about sign language. I took a class a few years ago, did a little interpreting of music at our church, but am forgetting it, with lack of use (but I have lots of books to refer to!). I can show you how to set up an Ebay store, and sell things online. I can show you how to set up a website. I can help you find a home, flip a home, sell a home.
