ABOUT ME

Hi! I am a 27-year-old from London, England, but I have been living in Pereira, Colombia, for the past 3 years, and I also lived in Bogota for a year. I teach English and do translations here.

I absolutely LOVE to dance; it is definitely my greatest passion in life and I can't think of anything I would rather get up and do every day. I belong to a salsa group here in Colombia, and we have big dreams. It makes a huge impact on all areas of my life - physically, emotionally, socially... not really financially, because this is Colombia and not England! Apart from dance, I love to keep fit in general, particularly going to the gym and yoga.

My second favourite thing to do is read, and I currently have the very geeky goal of trying to read a book from each country in the world - I have read about 50 so far!

PHILOSOPHY

You only have one life! I'm trying to live life more in the present and enjoy each day (note: trying).

I like any music that is good for dancing, particularly salsa! My taste in books is extremely varied. To name a few authors I like: Isabel Allende, Gabriel García Márquez and José Saramago.

I can teach English if your first language is Spanish, Spanish if your first language is English, and maybe a little bit of salsa... and I will learn whatever you can teach me! I would also really like to learn more about yoga and meditation.
