About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Seeing new things and being in new places beats everything. So i want to see a lot more.
ABOUT ME
I just moved to DC and have been enjoying getting to see all of the new sites. So far biking and running in Rock Creek Park is my favorite. I will never grow out of a game of frisbee or hackysack or a bike around town for the farmer's market and iced coffee. I tend to dabble in whatever comes my way, photography, drawing, cooking, to name a few. I also love to talk about music, always looking for recommendations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've had great luck meeting awesome people thru CS in my past cities in NY and NC. I'm hoping to take part in adventures and meet-ups with the DC circle.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience with CS was driving down to the dead sea with a few surfers and camping out for a couple nites. Unforgettable. Since then I've been hooked and continue to love being part of the network.
Interests
Art and architecture never fail to interest me. I am happy to walk around new cities and see how people live and use urban spaces. Going to museums is also a favorite. I also love music, and going to live performances, theater, yoga, running, and very recently i've added bike riding.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like reading mostly non-fiction stories of people's lives, or philosophies, the environment, and different places. I will pretty much happily listen to any live music. Otherwise its a lot of beck, chilli peppers, radiohead, green day, flamming lips, 90's rock, punk, and much more. I am starting to get more into classical and would love to hear recommendations in this genre as I'm just breaking into it. When it comes to movies I love a silly comedy or a good drama - just nothing too scary.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snorkeling in the great barrior reef and walking through petra are a couple of the the coolest things i've ever done, but the bioluminescent waters in puerto rico and being face to face with San Minialto Church were also incredible sights.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a nerd for animal welfare and vegetarian lifestyle (but im not into preaching it) and art, so i could share knowledge on that. I'd love to learn music like playing guitar and piano, it tends not to stick so if you can teach me, you are a champ.
