Hi! My name is Tamar, I'm from Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
I was working as a social worker with children and families, but I quit my job to go travelling! I wanted to travel to learn more about myself, but I also experienced different cultures and meet new people.
I have travelled for about 1,5 years and LOVED it. My view of the world and on life is so much wider, and it made me want to see only more of it. Right now, I'm working a bit, saving up and planning a trip to canada between September 2024 and november 2024, i can't wait!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting new people, and experienced that with staying in hostels, you meet people from all over the world. What I really like about couchsurfing is to meet the local people and learn more about their culture/country.

兴趣

I love the outdoors, nature, and being active! Ski, hike, cycling, sailing, climbing, diving. Name it, and i will join!
I also love making music, although I might need some practice. But I play some songs on a guitar and enjoy singing a lot.
