About Me

Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Tamara, and I come from Costa Rica, but I am currently living in Germany as an exchange student with a host-family in Lübeck. I am a really active girl, I enjoy experiencing new things and learning fun facts about everything. I love trying all kinds of food and meeting all kinds of people. I been dancing my whole life so I enjoy pretty much all types of music and all kinds of movements. I care for the environment and I love animals and plants. I am looking for people who would like to share sometime with me or lend me a place to sleep when I am close enough.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since February 2015 I have been living in Germany as an exchange student and I will be here until the beginning of 2016. My main goal is to learn Deutsch, get to know the culture, the people and of course to get around the country (and other places in Europe, if possible). My hostmom has lots of experience with Couchsurfing, so I thought it would be a good idea to be part of this community.

Interests

I really like meeting new people and places, I enjoy long conversations and a good iced-coffee. This year my plan is to get to know Germany as much as I can and connect with people as much as they let me. I will be happy to meet up with people who know how to shine even when the weather is bad.

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't found my favorites yet, but for now I could say there's always something good in every little piece, in every song, in every movie, and of course in every book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming here, alone, being 17 years old, to a country where I don't know the people, the culture and not even the language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a warm- costa rican smile, my funny stories and my experiences so far as an exchange sutudent (and perhaps some dance steps). I assure people will have a great time with me and we could all make good memories together, just give me the chance and I will show you how sunny a girl can be.
