About Me

I'm a very dedicated person, especially when it comes to family, friends and pets. A good friend of mine uses to exclaim: "You're always SO happy!," whenever he sees me, which is true, I guess, as there are so many awesome things happening everyday, especially if you know where to look, and if you look at things from the right angle :)
I haven't been on couchsurfing for very long and have only once stayed at a couchsurfer's place in Schotland before, which was a great experience!
It is difficult to host people myself as I live in a shared flat which neither has a spare bed nor a couch, as it is very small. I hope that this is going to change in the near future though, so that I can finally help out too :).
I study English and Art History in my 4th year in Jena - last year I did a couple of courses at the University of Kent at Canterbury.

Interests

Horses and horsemanship; languages and speech as such; Australia and the UK; I absolutely adore live music, yet I don't play any instrument myself

Music, Movies, and Books

This would be The Faraway Horses by Buck Brannaman, Harry Potter, and I quite enjoy Oscar Wilde :) Folk music!! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This would probably be the decision to do a year abroad at the UKC, Canterbury, which has then not only brought me to Lourdes and Scotland but also to meet some of the most awesome people in the entire world :).

Teach, Learn, Share

Travelling, or living abroad rather, has incredibly widened my horizon - I can only recommend you travel as it's very likely to make you happy and more at piece with the world and yourself. There are so many wonderful people out there who need to be met :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

England
