About Me

Creative, curious and open-minded, I like to meet new people and talk about pretty anything. I

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to be in Couchsurfing for many years as it was an ideal network to help each other to travel and meet. I didn't use for years as the policy changed a bit and I was not able to host or travel that much.

Interests

I like to draw, read (oh, reading ! Best way ever to escape reality), have a drink, go to the cinema, concerts, museums, do some childish activities (like climbing everywhere, considering the city as a giant amusement park, running in the streets, racing the tramways, feeling free as if my bike was an aeroplane or a horse, inventing new words too). I like to sing, walk without knowing where I'm going, especially during the night. I appreciate to observe details and the persons that are sensitive to little things, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment, I'm interested into ecological philosophers that propose other perspectives on how to share territories with other species, cohabit more respectfully and consider other living beings (Baptiste Morizet, Donna Haraway). I also like fantastic, magical, science fiction, queer ecological novels, such as Robbie Arnott, Clarissa Pinkola-Estes or Nastassja Martin. But it is hard to define my tastes in books, music or anything cultural as I go through phases of interests, change and like to discover new things.
About music, I love to listen to Tom Rosenthal, The Lumineers and italian music recently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled by autostop with a friend in direction of Amsterdam, without knowing where we would arrive, sleep, who we would meet. We arrived at the night in Brussels. No map. No plan. Nothing. We met a fantastic woman who host us and told us about her travels, her life between Bali and there, her philosophy, ... I fell in love with the city and this person left an important mark in my life. What a great experience. I learnt more during that travel about myself and life in general, than in ten years of school.
I went to Berlin too last summer, where I stayed in a squat, an abandonned house managed by some girls and queers travellers. That experience taught me a lot and shaped some of my political beliefs and positions. I still feel very impressive, emotional and grateful when I remember the people I had the chance to meet during my travels: their story, experiences, philosphy...

Teach, Learn, Share

I like meeting new people. I'm always open to listen to someone's story and what they might want to share or teach. I'm always happy to share about cooking recepies, art, collective and political experiences, artisanal practices, cinema, music, books, etc. I can help about artistic technics (printing, graphic design, drawing, edition, fanzines, etc). I like to study geography at the moment and I would like to learn more about living beings (animals, plants, micro organisms, etc), quantic physics and maths, astronomy, clouds, natural phenomenons, ecology, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking, visits, parties, walks, conversations. I use Couchsurfing as a way to meet new persons, create new connections around the world and help building a solidarity, safe and peaceful community.
