We're Tamara and Max, a 30 something year old couple from Belgium (Liège) who live to travel.
In 2023 we fullfilled a dream by spending a year on the road, mostly along the silk road. We have been welcomed time and time again with such unbelievable generosity and we now want to return the favor to the travel community. Also welcoming travellers is a nice way to keep on travelling until our next adventure.

Our best travel experiences have come through couchsurfing. It is one of the best ways to discover the cultures of the places we visit. Welcoming travellers allows us to keep travelling while we're home, so bring plenty of stories of your adventures.

To name a few: Where the wild things are, Taxi Driver, Filth, The Lobster, The Last painting, Enemy, Rams, The Fifth Season, Leviathan, Old Boy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, Little Miss Sunshine, Wintersleep, The Straight Story, Parasite, Match Point, Festen, Persepolis (and so many more we've already forgotten)...

Music: many things from classic rock to folk, blues or alternative rock, like Cold War Kids, Woodkid, Wolfmother, Girls in Hawaii, Alt-J, Duke Ellington, Muddy Waters, Led Zeppelin, Eliott Brooth, Timbre Timbre, The Death South, Hanni El Khatib, Black Box Revelation,...
We also love kurdish music!

Books: we love to read and when travelling to a place, we like to discover authors from that place, so any book recommandation from your country are very welcome.
