Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a lot of friends abroad, who I met due to the fact I live on the shore of the Black sea, what makes Odessa a tourist city. And that what makes me happy: meeting new people, broaden my knowledge, learn something about their culture and life, spend some time together and share ideas and great memories. I hope couchsurfing can help me finding new friends, that's why I'm here.

Interests

I have always been a person who wants to try everything, thus I took drawing classes, then some kind of an acting school for children, dances, figure skating, an acting school again, language courses, etc. At the age of 15 I realised I want to skydive, but also understood my mum will never give me a permission, so I had to wait to a certain age :) now I've made only 20 jumps but still skydiving is probably my biggest passion. I'm also very interested in art, my favourite artists are Claude Monet and Anri de Toulouse-Lotrec. Now I have a dream to travel the world and see so many of it as I can and I would also be happy to find friends during my trip, which I believe couchsurfing can help me with.

Music, Movies, and Books

R&b, funk, soul, hip-hop, pop, indie rock, rock and actually everything as long as I like the song. My favourite bands are The Doors, The Smiths, Arctic Monkeys. I love Erykah Badu and Etta James, David Bowie and Alabama Shakes, Earth wind and fire and Warren G and many many other fellows. :)

My favourite book is 'The Thorn birds', I guess, however there are lots of great works I like. From the last ones I read, I really enjoyed 'The Goldfinch' by Donna Tartt and 'The Dinner' by Herman Koch.

My love, inspiration and an absolute favourite director is Stanley Kubrick and I love all the movies by him I have watched. Apart from Kubrick, one of my favorite films is 'Into the Wolf's by Sean Penn.
