I'm a Dutch visual artist expressing myself through collage and painting.
My main source of inspiration is the USSR, their architecture and design.
As a person, I'm very ambitious and stubborn (though persistent sounds better.)
I'm always up for a good conversation over a cup of tea or a glass of wine and for petting cats.
A combination of those three things would get me over the moon.

CURRENT MISSION;
Successfully take an exam of Russian language, B2 level.

It's also a great way to meet people I otherwise would have never met. It makes me believe in the kindness of strangers.

Experience:
I couchsurfed around Poland two years ago. It was a liberating and very great learning experience and the most special trip I've ever been on. Now I'm aiming to feel that freedom again .

My favorite books are the novels by Simone de Beauvoir, I also enjoy Sartre and general books on art.
I enjoy listening to the silence, but if I should name few bands I do enjoy occasionally it would be Rammstein, Austra and Daughter. Otherwise I do enjoy jazz.
My favorite movie is Europa by Lars Von Trier. I'm quite fond of arthouse.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've written many letters to museum directors and persist in writing until I get something back. Thus I have received letters from contemporary art museums around the Netherlands. It's a very fun game and I secretly hope that one day it will help me to get my art in a museum as well.
