COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted in Copenhagen, surfed in Berlin, Krakow, Göteborg, Antwerpen, and Milano. I have eaten amazing dinners, learned about life in other parts of the world, stared at Picasso with my host, watched films in other languages and still knew when to laugh. I once lost my guest but she had quite an adventure before she came home ;)

Music - So much - all starting from the Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Charlie Parker, Leonard Cohen, Jimi Hendrix. My most recent concerts: Balkan Beat Box, Gonzales, Lou Reed, Angus & Julia Stone, Yeasayer, the XX, Mahler Symphonies No. 3 and No. 6, Wilco, Sondre Lerche, Fever Ray, Grizzly Bear, Phoenix, TV on the Radio, St. Vincent, Monsters of Folk, Vampire Weekend, Little Joy, Bon Iver, Yoav, Sufjan Stevens, Lily Allen, Pinback.

Books - Trying to work through Ada or Ardor by Nabokov...very arduous! Alternately obsessed with Thomas Mann, Joseph Conrad, and Virginia Woolf. I am trying to read everything by Roberto Bolaño in the original Spanish.
