About Me
I recently closed my law practice and retired from the practice of law because connecting with others at a heart level is so much more satisfying, so I decided to pursue yoga and wellness full time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My boyfriend (https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000196783 - if you're looking to stay with us, it's a package deal) has used Couchsurfing and has met some cool people and had some great experiences, and I wanted to get in on the fun. When I lived in France (before couchsurfing was a thing), I was hosted by so many French people who started off as strangers and ended up as friends. The world is so much better when we connect with people, and sharing our homes and hearts is such a great way to do that.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like most music, but I have a particular fondness for the live variety. I like bands that are local to me, like Driftwood, Gun Poets, Sim Redmond Band and John Brown's Body. My undergrad degree is in film, so I like quirky, off-the-wall, and foreign films best. I normally read just about anything. I read my Nat Geo from cover to cover every month, and I like a good mix of fiction and non-fiction. I'm currently reading the Game of Thrones series, and my favorite book of all time is "Still Life with Woodpecker" by Tom Robbins.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The coolest 75 seconds of my life were spent in a wheeled bobsled flying through the turns of the 1994 Olympic bobsled track in Lillehammer, Norway. Wicked cool!
Teach, Learn, Share
It is said that when the student is ready, the teacher will come.
That's what's so cool about life: you never know what you're going to teach someone or what you're going to learn or what you're going to share. That's why it's so important to be open to those precious "lollipop moments".
What I Can Share with Hosts
My heart. m also happy to pitch in with dinner or whatever needs doing, and I love to talk about just about anything, so whatever is requested or needed is what will be shared.
