Hi, I'm Mechi, I'm from Argentina, I'll be traveling for a couple of months this year (july - november) to meet new people, new cultures, to get to know different ways of living.
I make a living of different things at home, I work at a family company in pest control, I do administrative work, I host an Airbnb, I do administrative work outside the company as well as a virtual personal assistant but my vocational work is interior design, I love to do projects in the field, I consider myself a creative person and I love to learn new things. I also play the piano, practice yoga and host an Silent Book Club in the city I live in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people, and share experiences. There's so much information around the world, in hands of so many people. I like to learn about everything that crosses me.
I think that's enough of a reason.

Interests

I play the piano, love listening music, I´m a big cinephile, I like biking around new cities as a way of getting to know the streets in an authentic way, as well as in my own city, I move around in this way.
I´m learning dutch since a couple of years ago, I enjoy having more knowledge of other languagues.
I enjoy hosting social events, gardening, finding new cafés, libraries, museums.
I also practice yoga, I started when I was 18 with kundalini yoga and I really fall for it, and meditation as well.
Environmental consciousness is really important for me, I was vegetarian for 8 years but a couple of years ago I had to change my dietary preferences for medical reasons.
And most of it, I love to travel, I traveled around West Europe, I want to get to know the East in this trip!
East cost in The United States, Costa Rica, Brasil, Chile and a big part of Argentina. My last long trip was of 9 months, Europe and Costa Rica. On this trip I´m doing for the first time Workaway exchanges and I´m thrilled about it :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen from classic music, wich I adore, to jazz, rock and electronic music.
Movies I love dramas in particularly but I really enjoy watching movies and sharing that activity with others

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have saved a lot of stray dogs and cats, and for me that the best thing I have done :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really like to share experiences, point of views, the knowledge I have, I can share with you excellent coffees, I usually travel with my aeropress and I´m also a barista.
I´m a really tidy person and I really enjoy decluttering, I would love to help others to get rid of material stuff and being more minimalists if wanted!
I like gardening and can help too with that, I can help with interior design projects, crafts, art, DIY.
I would love to learn more cooking recipes and cooking together!
In my friend´s groups I´m usually the one who does the activities planning, I love researching things to do in new cities as well as in the city I live in, and I love sharing this with others!
