ABOUT ME
We're 30ish and 40ish, been been married 14 years, have both lived all over the country, most recently Oregon and are back in Tennessee briefly for Jason to finish his current degree.
We like micro-brew, good coffee, interesting food, we're tree-hugging, dirt-loving, produce growing, fleece wearing, technology dependent, urban hippies.
We dream of our future Bed and Breakfast. We're constantly collecting ideas, potential furnishings, and recipes, and scouting locations and future guests!
We're in a nice neighborhood with fantastic neighbors - we have a big yard and have gatherings for frequent bonfires and meals outdoors when the weather allows. When Jason isn't consumed by school, we're avid campers and travelers, and make the most of our days off from work/school.
PHILOSOPHY
What you see is what you get - we do our best to walk our talk and to leave things better than we found them -
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We host!!!! We are particularly fond of international guests, we like to hear of the experiences and travels of others, as we're not in a position to do much traveling currently - so this is a good way to bring the world to us!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Before CS? We have a small antique camper, so we generally take our own couch along and just look for a place to plug it in!
Since CS? We've hosted guests of all ages, from many parts of the planet - we love hearing of travels and cultures as experienced by our guests.

Teach, Learn, Share
WATCH ONE - DO ONE - TEACH ONE
Jason is a strong mentor for anyone in the allied health and medical professions. He has multiple degrees in health science and loves to life coach young adults who are considering a career or volunteer service in the medical community.
I'm a foodie and get great pleasure from feeding our guests and sharing recipes and food culture experiences. My current kitchen isn't big, but I'll make room for you! Ethnic cooking is a new venture, so anyone wanting to share their cultural cooking skills can bring it!
