I'm a med school student from the Utrecht, Netherlands.
Although I've always enjoyed travelling, a recent trip to the Dutch Caribbean islands truly spiked this interest in me. Making a roadtrip through America has always been one of my dreams, and coming summer, I'll be doing this with my twin sister!

I don't have experience on CS itself, but I have done a similar thing when I went to Aruba. I stayed at a place of someone who was an acquaintance of a friend of a friend - so really hardly and relationship with me - for a couple of days. She came to pick me up from the airport, we drank a couple of glasses of wine together and she was althogether a great host. It was such a great experience that I feel very positive getting similar experiences on CS!

With my big roadtrip through the USA ahead of me, I'm looking forward to meeting great people there. Because I don't really know any Americans and have never been there before, it seems a perfect opportunity to meet people who know the ins and outs of the places we are visiting!

兴趣

I love to read, to watch television shows (seriously, I'm an addict) and movies. I play field hockey, I run (sometimes, if I'm not too lazy).
I'm also really into my studies - I love the human body and I love talking about health and disease. It's a problem!:)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

November 2014 I went to Saint Martin to do a project in a home for the mentally disabled. It was such an amazing experience!
The children in the institute are so inspirational and it's so special to see how grateful people in need can be if someone comes to see them and comes to give them attention, and Í'm still so thankful I got to do something so special.
