Hi there!

I'm an artist, surfer, and lover of all things outdoors. I've been living (or at least trying my best at) the California Dream. I'm trying to keep myself financially stable while chasing my artistic goals.
I traveled all the PNW with my brother last November even getting all the way up to Tofino BC! Then my brother split back to Milwaukee and I stuck around. Slept in the car for a month and ended up finding work at a summer camp in Malibu. There I worked and stayed on site (in a shed, you can see in my profile picture). I surfed my brains out everyday and was able to save up some dough. But now I'm back on the road again in search of a new place to settle down.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Tried my best trying to find a job and place to stay in SD area. The cost of living is "too damn high!". Not to mention I've been craving some cooler weather. I don't know many people between here and San Francisco so any place to stay would be greatly appreciated.

Right now I'm reading, "Barbarian Days: A Surfing Life" by William Finnegan. But I'm a fan of anything by John Muir or Aldo Leopold.
As far as bands I sort of like a little bit of everything. Just to name a few: Blitzen Trapper, Gangstar, Tame Impala, Misfits, Bob Dylan, Jurassic 5

My midwest hospitality. I'm a very kind,down to earth, and giving individual. I've been to some destinations around the US some may not venture to. I've had a lot of adventures thus far so I guess I can share plenty of stories and photos.
