CURRENT MISSION

I want to be able to learn about new countries first hand. Being in a new country for extended periods of time is one thing that helps me understand who I really am. I want to figure out what it is I want to do with my life.

ABOUT ME

I am clean and orderly. I don't take up a lot of space and I am able to cope with rules. I love to see new places and meet people. I enjoy music and some history. I am studying geography and business in university.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It has been a long time since I have been on this website. When I move out would love to be a host. I have never surfed or hosted but I would like to surf this summer and hope to host by fall.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not surfed yet. Looking for a first time. I have stayed in peoples homes on air bnb. That was a good experience. I got to spend time with a women in Paris but then I also got to go out on my own time.

兴趣

I like music, karaoke, and hiking. I am not too serious about hiking. I like being in nature, but climbing cliffs is a bit extreme for me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This is a two part story.

When I was studying in Germany there was a class excursion to a castle. I had just met my room mate the night before and she seemed much more athletic than myself. While she was leading the trail I was following behind where I met a nice Finish girl. (I will come back to this). The incline of the walk was steep and my room mate was walking very slow and holding herself up by the wall. I stayed behind with her and held her arm while we slowly walked up the hill. We were stopped for a while and I had some food in my purse that I offered her because she was light headed. I sat behind with her until she felt okay enough to continue in the castle.

The next time I met the Finnish girl she told me her birthday was coming up but she did not think anything special would happen. She asked me to plan a party for her.

I got together everyone I had met in Germany so far and asked everyone to donate 5 euro to the party. There were about 20 of us from all around the world who ended up going to the party. The 5 euro went into buying food, wine, cake, a card and a gift for the girl. Then afterwords it paid for her admission into a dance club and all of her drinks everywhere we went.

Everyone was given two euro back because we did not use all of the money and the Finnish girl told me it was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for her.

She was very shy, but the group that went to her party all turned into a close friendship.
