Once when I was as a volunteer on a Conservation Week in scotland, to plant trees with the organization Trees for Life. There was one day, that I experienced something really awesome:

"For myself, I think that one of the most interesting and most spectacular evenings in scotland, was when my group met Alasdair Mc Haggis at Dundreggan, where we ate together and later listened to his fairy tales about Scotland. Earlier that day the focalisers told us that we may see the aurora polaris (also known as northern lights) in the evening. Shortly before Alasdair started the story-telling, we lit a bonfire to warm up each other against the cold temperature outside.

He started with his first fairy tale and I grabbed my camera to take some pictures while I was listening to his stories. It was my plan to catch the beautiful atmosphere around the bonfire, together under the stars, with my camera. While I was taking some experimental pictures of the entire group under the stars, I accidentally caught the aurora polaris on one picture. When I realised what I shot, it felt awesome and breathtaking."
