About Me
Hi! I'm tammy and my husband's name is Chris. We are excited to host co-couchsurfers. We love to travel and explore new areas. We hope to share our hometown's best with you! Happy traveling :)
We now reside in Asheville, NC (previously from Baltimore, MD)!!! We have a two bedroom apartment that we can share with our guests. We live in a gated community, therefore there are a few rules to follow during your stay. We can discuss that during contact. I work from home, so I hope you'd respect that I need concentration during the day.
We have explored great areas in town including restaurants, breweries, shops and hiking trails. We would love to host anyone who share the same positive attitude and respect.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love discovering new places, not for what it's already known for but for what other gems I could find. I appreciate cities and towns for its history and neighborhoods. I also hope to meet other travel and discovery enthusiasts!
Interests
Food- I love everything about it. I love cooking, eating and even looking at it. I favor fresh and raw ingredients which often leads me to town farmers markets and fresh produce stalls.
Sports- I've always been active. I currently play volleyball, tennis and football. I also run for leisure and attend races for pleasure. I'm open to trying anything active.
Travelling- Yes, aren't we all. Like many it is on my bucket list to visit all 50 states in America. I've been to 42 so, thats a good thing right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am proud to say that I have skydived! haha yes, I braved the sky and jumped off of a plane. It was the most liberating and free-ing feeling I've ever had. It was on my bucket list so for me to be able to do it was AMAZING!
Update: We finally went Bungee jumping! So that's the newest thrill we've done. We also finished the Kentucky bourbon trail. Gosh, where/what to next?
What I Can Share with Hosts
We recently moved to Asheville, NC. We keep everything clean in our apartment and take pride of our space. We have a spare bedroom and a pullout couch that is welcome for our guests to use.
We have lots and lots and lots of great restaurants to recommend. I am an avid fan of farm-to-table dining and so that's what I tend to recommend. I really hate seeing "tourists" being haggled to spend enormous amounts of money on franchise restaurants and typical tourist attractions. BUT if that's what you're into, I can recommend some of that to =)
